WAVE - Sougwen
"The Wave" explores the relationship between humans and machines, contrasting nature's organic beauty with the order of automation. Using the wave form, we visually depict the contrast between natural landscapes and the structured world of machines. From above, landscapes lose their complexity, transforming into geometric shapes. The wave form reminds us of nature's richness often overshadowed by machine-imposed order. We explore the impact on our connection to the natural world and draw inspiration from Sougwen's pioneering fusion of artistry and AI. Our film investigates the potential for harmonious collaboration between humans and machines at the intersection of art and technology.

After the collective shock of a major earthquake in Mexico City, three friends try desperately to overcome their trauma. They make lots of sandwiches and try to bring them to the people in need. Throughout the night, they meet different generations who have all found their own way to deal with the impending danger of an occurring earthquake…

Behind the facades of a mass housing complex in Berlin desires, longings, compulsions and dreams of its residents become visible during the routines of their everyday lifes: 2000 organisms in 514 living cells form a coral reef made of concrete and steel. Portrait of an invisible city.
